DLG membership for EPP members
Dear EPP members
Since the European Pig Producers were founded in 1990 in Herning (Dennmark) EPP and the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft DLG (German Agricultural Society) have an enormous fruitful partnership. EPP is established as the unique international network for leaders of pig production in Europe. We are convinced that this kind of independent international platform of practical orientated business farmers offers a lot of possibilities to get access to the key information thanks to the activities and network in the clubs. Since 2003 EPP has been an independent „official“ organisation with own statutes, board and management. The agreement of co-operation and the contract for services between DLG and EPP ensures a professional background for the daily work and the organisation of projects and events.
Apart from the official background it is very important that both partners fit together. Having the same philosophy of a neutral and practical orientated network, the European clubs and DLG offer each other a lot of synergies to organise „impulses for progress“. DLG in Germany is a business farmers and Agro food chain orientated organisation with 16.000 members and is the organiser of the No. 1 trade shows for agriculture in Europe: the Agritechnica and EuroTier.
DLG intends to become more international in the future with international members, projects and conferences. Therefore all members of the European Pig Producers club are welcome to subscribe to DLG membership to benefit from the DLG network.
Your benefit when applying for DLG membership will be:
- Free entrance to the DLG exhibitions Agritechnica and EuroTier
- "agrifuture" Magazine four times a year with up to date European business reports
- You will be a member of the leading farmers association in central Europe
- Opinion leaders of the upstream and downstream sector in agribusiness will meet at DLG events, you are invited to attend, too!
Last but not least and due to the signed contracts between EPP and DLG, European Pig Producers club has a benefit when you as an EPP member decide to subscribe to DLG membership:
The DLG membership fee will be covered by EPP, though there will be no additional costs for the EPP budget. From your personal DLG membership, EPP will have a special benefit through the partnership with DLG.
